RELAXED PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY AT RUTLAND HALL
John & Li’s Portrait Photographer Leicester session at Rutland Hall and Rutland Water was filled with relaxed moments, beautiful evening light, and genuine connection throughout the shoot.
With John originally from Leicester and Li travelling from China before their traditional Nikah celebrations a few weeks later, this session was a wonderful opportunity to capture a quieter and more personal side of their story before the wedding itself.
Rutland Hall provided the perfect setting for natural portrait photography, with incredible views overlooking Rutland Water and plenty of beautiful surroundings for relaxed couple portraits. We began the session inside the hotel before later moving closer towards the lake as the evening light slowly softened around us.
NATURAL COUPLE PHOTOGRAPHY AT RUTLAND WATER
One of my favourite parts of the session was photographing during sunset near Rutland Water. The warm evening light created the perfect opportunity to capture natural portraits with soft sun flare and a more artistic documentary feel throughout the images.
Rather than heavily posing every photograph, the session focused on creating relaxed moments together while allowing everything to unfold naturally. This always helps couples feel far more comfortable in front of the camera and creates photographs that feel genuine and timeless.
Portrait and engagement sessions like this are always a great way for couples to slow down, enjoy time together, and create meaningful photographs before the wedding celebrations begin.
