Tim & Gabi’s pre-wedding shoot in Worcestershire took place shortly before their wedding celebrations later that summer. The relaxed session was held within the beautiful gardens at Tim’s family home in Worcestershire, which also became the setting for their wedding reception a few days later.
At first, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect when I heard the shoot would take place in the family gardens. However, the location turned out to be perfect for a relaxed countryside engagement session with beautiful natural surroundings and plenty of space to explore.
Relaxed Engagement Photography in Worcestershire
Pre-wedding shoots are always a great opportunity for couples to slow down, spend time together, and become more comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding day itself. Rather than focusing on awkward posing, I always try to keep these sessions relaxed, natural, and easy-going.
Like many couples, Tim was slightly nervous at the beginning of the session, but after a few minutes the nerves quickly disappeared and the shoot became full of laughter and genuine moments together.
Natural Pre-Wedding Photography with Your Dog
One of the best parts of this Worcestershire pre-wedding shoot was that Tim & Gabi brought along their dog Saffa, who completely stole the show throughout the session. Including pets during engagement shoots always helps couples relax naturally while adding even more personality and genuine moments to the photographs.
The relaxed countryside setting, soft summer light, and laid-back atmosphere made this one of my favourite pre-wedding shoots from that year.
Countryside Pre-Wedding Shoot in Worcestershire
One of the things I enjoy most about countryside pre-wedding shoots is how calm and relaxed the environment feels compared to a busy wedding day. Couples have time to enjoy the experience together without pressure, which always helps create more natural photographs and genuine interaction throughout the session.
By the time the wedding arrives, most couples already feel far more comfortable being photographed, helping everything flow naturally throughout the celebrations.
You can also explore Tim & Gabi’s Worcestershire wedding alongside more relaxed documentary wedding photography stories from Mythe Barn, Winstanley House, Ladywood Estate, Stapleford Park, and City Rooms Leicester.
If you’re planning a wedding and considering a pre-wedding shoot in Worcestershire or elsewhere in the Midlands, I’d love to hear more about your plans.
