RELAXED PRE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY IN BIRMINGHAM
Stephen & Purvi chose the Library of Birmingham for their pre wedding photography session because it was a place that already meant something special to them. It was where they had their very first date together, which made the shoot feel far more personal and meaningful from the beginning.
The Library of Birmingham provided the perfect setting for relaxed documentary style pre wedding photography. The modern architecture, soft light, and unique interiors created a beautiful contrast against the natural connection between them throughout the session.
Rather than heavily posing everything, the focus was simply on capturing genuine moments together while exploring some of Birmingham’s most iconic locations, including the ICC and surrounding areas around Broad Street.
A SESSION FILLED WITH REAL MOMENTS
One of the things I enjoyed most about this session was how relaxed and easygoing Stephen & Purvi were throughout the shoot. The session never felt forced or overly staged, which allowed us to create natural photographs full of personality and real connection.
Pre wedding shoots are always a great opportunity for couples to slow down, spend time together, and become comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding day itself. It also allows us to create photographs that feel personal to their story and relationship.
I was very much looking forward to photographing both their church wedding and Hindu wedding celebrations the following year after spending time with them during this Birmingham pre wedding shoot.
