The day began with relaxed morning preparations at The City Rooms before moving into an intimate civil ceremony surrounded by close family and friends. The atmosphere throughout the morning felt calm, personal, and genuinely emotional.

Kirtee & Simon wanted the day to feel natural rather than overly structured. Despite multiple outfit changes and ceremonies, everything flowed smoothly and allowed everyone to stay fully present and enjoy the celebrations together.

Later in the day, the celebrations transitioned into a vibrant Hindu wedding filled with colour, emotion, and tradition. There were so many beautiful interactions between both families throughout the ceremonies.

As a documentary wedding photographer, these are the kinds of weddings I love photographing most. Real moments unfold naturally throughout the day without forcing anything to happen. Often, the quiet in-between moments become the most meaningful memories later on.
