This maternity photography Leicester session with Sent & Neera took place at Rothley Court Hotel in Leicestershire. Their relaxed pregnancy photoshoot captured an important stage of life naturally, using soft winter light and genuine moments together before welcoming their first baby.
Interestingly, Rothley Court Hotel was also where they photographed their engagement session several years earlier. Returning to the same location made the session feel even more meaningful for them both.

One of the things I enjoy most about maternity photography is creating a relaxed environment where couples can simply enjoy spending time together naturally. Rather than heavily posed photographs, I prefer focusing on genuine interaction, movement, and quiet moments between couples.
Winter maternity sessions can create beautiful soft light and calm surroundings, especially during quieter mornings. Rothley Court Hotel provided the perfect setting for natural portraits while still allowing the session to feel relaxed and personal throughout.

One of the things I love most about documentary-style portrait photography is allowing moments to unfold naturally without too much direction. Sessions like this are always at their best when couples feel relaxed and comfortable rather than worrying about posing perfectly.
Because the session took place early in the morning, the grounds around Rothley Court Hotel felt peaceful and quiet. The soft winter light also helped create a calm atmosphere throughout the shoot while still keeping the portraits natural and timeless.
