RELAXED ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHY IN LEICESTER
Leicester Pre Wedding Photographer sessions are always a great opportunity to slow things down and photograph couples in a more relaxed and natural way — and Tan & Judy’s engagement shoot around Leicester was such a memorable one to document.
Although they were visiting from China and travelling through Paris and London, they chose Leicester for their engagement shoot because it was where they first met while studying together at Leicester University. That personal connection made the session feel far more meaningful than simply choosing a popular location for photographs.
We began the shoot around Victoria Park before later exploring areas near Leicester University and finishing in Leicester city centre. Despite the cold winter weather, the atmosphere throughout the session felt relaxed, easy-going, and natural, allowing us to create a mixture of candid moments and timeless portraits along the way.
NATURAL PRE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
One of my favourite things about pre wedding and engagement photography is documenting couples in places that genuinely mean something to them personally. Rather than focusing on heavily posed photographs, I always try to create images that feel authentic, relaxed, and connected to the couple’s real story.
Sessions like this are also a great opportunity for couples to become more comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding day itself while creating photographs that feel personal and meaningful to their relationship.
Victoria Park and Leicester city centre provided the perfect backdrop for natural engagement photography, especially during the softer evening light later in the session.
