Ceejay and Jess celebrated their Town Hall wedding Leicester ceremony surrounded by close family and friends. Family members had travelled from the United States for the wedding, which made the day feel especially meaningful.

The day began with a civil ceremony at Leicester Town Hall. Afterwards, celebrations continued at Winstanley House later in the evening. The atmosphere throughout the day felt calm and emotional. As a result, genuine moments unfolded naturally.

The ceremony was filled with real reactions and emotional moments between family members and guests. Afterwards, everyone gathered outside for confetti photographs and relaxed group pictures. We then spent a short amount of time capturing portraits around Leicester city centre.

One of the things I enjoy most about Town Hall weddings in Leicester is how personal they feel. Smaller civil ceremonies create space for real interaction and authentic documentary moments. Couples are also able to spend more time with guests throughout the day.

After the ceremony, we stopped briefly at Abbey Park for a few relaxed couple portraits before heading to Winstanley House. I kept the portraits simple and natural so the couple could enjoy the day without spending too much time away from their guests.

Celebrations continued at Winstanley House for the reception and evening party. As one of Leicester’s best-known wedding venues, Winstanley House provides a beautiful setting for relaxed documentary wedding photography.

Throughout the reception, I focused on genuine interaction, speeches, laughter, and the energy of the evening. In addition, one of the highlights of the reception was a surprise gender reveal. The reaction from family and guests created some of the most emotional moments of the entire day.

This is not a review of this lens, there are plenty of good in-depth reviews out there on the internet. If you are a Sony A7 system user, then this lens is a must-have for the image quality and sharpness. I hope you find these images helpful if you are considering buying this beautiful lens.. all photos here are of course edited to my taste & Style.
