One of my favourite things about documenting Mehndi celebrations is how naturally people interact throughout the evening. There’s movement everywhere — conversations between relatives, children running around, family members dancing together, and genuine reactions happening constantly without interruption. Ritika & Shrey’s celebration had all of that energy throughout the night.

The couple spent most of the evening fully present with the people around them, enjoying every part of the celebration rather than being pulled away from it. That always creates the best environment for natural documentary photography because real moments are allowed to unfold naturally.
