Relaxed Documentary Wedding Photography in Leicester & the Midlands

Thank you for taking the time to explore my portfolio as a Leicester wedding photographer. These images are a collection of real moments captured across weddings in Leicester, the Midlands, and throughout the UK.

My approach to wedding photography is relaxed, natural, and documentary-focused. Rather than constantly directing the day, I prefer to quietly observe and capture genuine moments as they naturally unfold — the emotion, atmosphere, energy, and connection between people.

As a documentary Leicester wedding photographer, I believe the best photographs often happen in between the planned moments. The laughter between friends, emotional reactions during the ceremony, quiet moments with family, and the atmosphere throughout the day all become part of the story.

Over the years, I’ve photographed a wide range of celebrations including Hindu weddings, Sikh weddings, multicultural weddings, elegant city weddings, countryside venues, and intimate civil ceremonies throughout Leicester and beyond.

Most couples tell me they feel awkward in front of the camera, which is completely normal. You won’t be asked to pose all day or spend hours away from your guests. I’ll guide you when needed, keep things relaxed, and create space for real moments to happen naturally.

Many of the weddings featured throughout this portfolio have taken place at venues including City Rooms Leicester, Winstanley House, Mythe Barn, and Ladywood Estate. Whether I’m photographing a smaller intimate wedding or a large multicultural celebration, my focus always stays on honest storytelling and genuine connection.
