“First of all, What is an Engagement session?”
Merely a pre-wedding photoshoot a few weeks before your wedding. Usually, it lasts for about 90minutes. You get the opportunity to create some stunning images without the stress and distractions of the big day.
What are the benefits?
Get some beautiful photos: You might be thinking: “Do we need an Engagement Photography Session?” – I would encourage you to consider booking an engagement session. Firstly, to allow your photographer to get to know you. And also you will get fantastic couple’s photos to use on your save the date, invitations or presentations during the reception. Also, these are great for Facebook, and Instagram likes.
Practice for the wedding day: As an experienced Engagement Photographer, I often meet couples who are doing this for the first time. Sometimes they are a little nervous or uncomfortable. Surely, you don’t want to feel that way on your wedding day. I keep my engagement sessions fun and candid as possible, working only with natural light so no fancy light setups or awkward, cheesy poses! I aim to help you feel comfortable being in front of the camera and also talk you through my posing and photography style. You can see it as a rehearsal for the big day. I promise you by the time the engagement shoot is over; we will be friends.
Opportunity to meet your photographer: An engagement shoot provides you with the opportunity to get to know your photographer and to see how he works. It’s important you feel comfortable with your photographer, so your photos will be better. You can also show your photographer what pictures you like and what you don’t like before the wedding.
