Tips for Candid Wedding Photography on your wedding day:

Find the right Wedding Photographer –  Connecting with people is so vital for authentic photos, not Just for photographers but also for you. So, find a photographer whose work — and personality — you’re comfortable around. Then, on the day of your wedding, you’ll be more likely to relax, knowing you’re in capable hands.

Try and forget that your photographer is there– Enjoy each other and the moment. A wedding day goes by so fast, so savour every second.

Just relax– Chances are, unexpected things will happen on your wedding day- Your hair and makeup take longer than expected, or your Limo doesn’t arrive on time. But nothing should overshadow the joy of the day. So try not to let any hiccups get in the way of you enjoying yourself because if you’re stressed, it’ll show in photographs.

Have a timeline– Build a timeline that allows natural events to unfold in a relaxed manner. You make great photos when you’re comfortable. So, create a timeline that doesn’t rush your day, allowing you to have plenty of breathing room in between events.

Limit your group photos– Try to limit the family formals to a few groups, so it doesn’t overeat up your time.  Quickly finishing the portraits means everybody can get back to enjoying the gathering.

Don’t Pose- When people know they’re being photographed, they put on their ‘camera-face’, and this can make them look unnatural, stiff or awkward. It’s your photographer’s responsibility to capture your naturally- when you look your best, so forget posing!
